Düchenbloker construction

Düchenbloker proposal

The idea behind the Düchenblokers is to supply the consumer with an alternative to the run of the mill pair of sunglasses. Designer shades have been known to run a criminal mark up of over 1,000%, and without many viable recycling options this is a huge loss to both the consumer and Mother Earth. With such products as Enviro-tote, and eco bags, we see proof that there are reasonable ways to present fashionable products without paying unreasonable prices and still be able to recycle. If the template is there, the forward thinking consumer will follow and soon enough, Düchenblokers will be the new wave in eco-fashion.

Final Hydroponic Garden

Proposal

Indoor Hydroponic Garden

The Up-cycle Boxed Water project is to reuse the box to become a plant holder for a Hydroponic garden inside your home or office. The idea was inspired by my father and his passion for growing plants using alternative methods. My Father and I have constructed a Greenhouse where we have a Hydroponic Garden, and grow many fruits and vegetables with the Hydroponic method. The intended idea for this project is to create a simple model of a Hydroponic garden, so that any age can grow plants inside their home, apartment, or office and not get messy with all the soil and water. The space should be well lit by natural or artificial light and the amount of boxes can be adapted to the amount of space you have. It’s not only great that you can grow plants for decoration, but using the Boxed Water you will be recycling and helping the environment by leaving a lower carbon footprint. The major benefit to this proposal is that you can have your own small indoor garden with decorative plants, herbs to cook with, or vegetables to eat, that will grow all year round!

Kaleidoscope

With the new amazing advancement in moving to boxed water, there is only one thing that could possibly make the invention than it already is, and that is by up-cycle the product. Seeing all of my classmates come to class each one with one or more different ideas in mind shows that the possibilities are endless. Yet still thinking about the environment and wanting to use the up-cycled product to interact with it, in a fun way knowing that the box can be recycled but isn’t 100% environmentally friendly, brought the final conclusion of creating a kaleidoscope. Not only is it fun and makes beautiful designs, but it is cool enough to want to hold onto and use more than one time. By decorating the package inside and out customizing it to you, to the customer. It can be a relaxing fun piece to keep close
by for when you need to relax and find a peaceful place but cannot leave the current place you are at. Consumers would be able to save on plastic and create fun and new creations for them selves and friends. They would even make a great gift, or a fun craft idea for kids.
